Sanskrit Without Fear
A 36-week self-study guide for TSLAS students who want to begin reading Sanskrit texts with confidence.
This guide is for learners who already know Devanāgarī and want a clear path from simple Sanskrit sentences to selected readings from the Bhagavad Gītā, Upaniṣads, Rāmāyaṇa, Mahābhārata, and simple classical-style Buddhist Sanskrit.
The Method
Read slowly. Notice patterns. Understand endings. Translate carefully. Return to the text.
You do not need to master every technical detail before reading. You learn grammar because it helps you read.
